Bishkek, Aug. 6, 2021. / Kabar /. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan Talant Mamytov 5 met with Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported.
The meeting took place within the framework of the visit of the Kyrgyz parliamentary delegation to Tehran on the occasion of the official inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
The sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, including inter-parliamentary interaction.
Speaker Mamytov greeted the interlocutor and noted that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia are of a strategic nature. He assured that the Kyrgyz Republic has always been, is and will be a reliable partner of the Russian Federation on the basis of many years of ties of friendship, mutual understanding and support between the peoples of the two states, tested by a long time and history.
“The Kyrgyz Republic remains fully committed to the course of strategic partnership and alliance with the Russian Federation, to the observance of previously reached agreements and agreements,” the speaker emphasized.
Mamytov noted that the inter-parliamentary dialogue between the two countries is productive and gives an additional impetus to the development of interaction in the political, trade and investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
In turn, Volodin noted that relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia are at a high level and should be appreciated and further strengthened. In addition, the chairman of the State Duma announced the need for further development of inter-parliamentary cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the sides wished every success and good health to each other.
