Bishkek, Apr. 10, 2018. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz sportsman Azat Usenaliev is recognized as the best boxer of the international tournament in Russia, the press service of the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The international boxing tournament dedicated to the memory of the USSR master of sports Pavel Malakhovsky was held from April 4 to 7 in Surgut (Russia).
The strongest boxers of Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan took part in the competitions.
Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won three gold medals. As a result of the competition, Azat Usenaliev (up to 52 kg), Almanbet Alibekov (up to 56 kg) and Ziyeddin Muminov (over 91 kg) managed to rise to the highest step of the pedestal.
Shailoo Ravshanbek uulu (up to 60 kg), Akylbek Aybek uulu (up to 69 kg), Erkin Adylbek uulu (up to 81 kg) and Sergei Parenko (up to 91 kg) managed to reach the semi-finals and won bronze medals.
