Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2019. /Kabar/. Under the chairmanship of the head of the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakhtiyar Saliev, a meeting of the State Agency Board was held.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Finance, the Public Council of the Agency, the Institute for Development Policy and the staff of the Agency, the press service of the institution reported.
The board reviewed the results of the work done by the Agency for 2018 and the tasks for 2019 in the field of local self-government and strengthening the unity of the people.
Information on the work carried out by local governments in the sphere of violations and misconduct within the framework of the implementation of judicial and legal reform in the Kyrgyz Republic was provided.
The results of the three-party Memorandum between the Agency, the Institute for Development Policy and the Union of Local Self-Government, where the tasks for conducting work in the new format are defined, were summed up.
At the same time, the Comprehensive Plan of the Agency for 2019 was approved, taking into account the proposals made to strengthen measures aimed at implementing the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on Declaring 2019 the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the Country, the Program for the Development of Local Self-Government in the Kyrgyz Republic 2023 and other strategic documents.
