Kyrgyz students take part in online dialogue between youth and members of crew of Shenzhou-15 spacecraft

Bishkek, April 20, 2023. /Kabar/. The “Tiangong Dialogue” between representatives of students, schoolchildren of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries and members of the crew of the Shenzhou-15 spacecraft was held on Wednesday via videoconferencing.

Zhang Ming, Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Vice-Chairman of the China SCO Committee for Good-Neighbourliness and youth representatives from SCO members: China, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia and other countries took part in an online meeting.

Secretary General of SCO Zhang Ming said that the invitation of the Shenzhou 15 flight crew to communicate online with youth representatives from the SCO countries is intended to inspire the younger generation to fulfill their dreams.

The three astronauts, Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming, and Zhang Lu, answered all the interested questions of the youth and wished the space dreams of young people to come true as soon as possible.

A boy from school 95 from Bishkek, Nurislan Obolbekov, asked the question in Chinese about what do they do in their spare time.

"What do you do in your spare time? Do you play board games, read books, or do other things?" he asked.

Austrount Fei Junlong replied that every day they do a lot of things in space. “We work more than nine hours a day, six days a week. We will work closely with our colleagues on the ground to complete the tasks assigned by them. During the rest time, we will Read books, listen to music, and make video calls with family members. Unfortunately, we can’t play board games,” he answered.

The meeting, which was held at Bishkek State University, was jointly organized by the Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Commission (GNFCC) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), China Manned Space Agency, All-China Youth Federation, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the secretariat of the SCO Youth Committee.
