Kyrgyz students win International Olympiad of High School of Economics

Bishkek, Feb. 6, 2019. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz high school students won the International Olympiad of the High School of Economics, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bishkek reported.

The results of the International Youth Olympiad of National Research University of High School of Economics were summed up on Feb. 5. Diplomas and prizes were awarded to 30 winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad who study in the senior classes of the republic’s schools.

Head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Kyrgyz Republic Viktor Nefyodov congratulated the children and stressed that the High School of Economics is one of the leading universities in Russia.

Alexander Deyev, Director of Attracting Foreign Students of the university, noted that this year more than 8,000 people worldwide participated in the International Youth Olympiad, and winning the Olympiad is a significant result and an indicator of the high level of training of Kyrgyz schoolchildren.

Representatives of Tosotrudnichestvo told applicants about the possibilities of entering Russian universities and answered students' questions.

The International Youth Competition of the High School of Economics was held In Kyrgyzstan, from October 23 to November 1, 2018. More than one hundred high school students took part in it. The Olympiad was held in 16 subjects (mathematics, physics, history, psychology, journalism, media communication, etc.).
