Kyrgyz swimmer Denis Petrashov takes second place at competition in US

Bishkek, Feb. 22, 2022. / Kabar /. Swimmer from Kyrgyzstan Denis Petrashov competed in the U.S. Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) in Atlanta and placed second in the 200-yard dash with a time of 1:51.89.

The Swimming Federation of Kyrgyzstan reported that the ACC league unites the strongest university teams on the East Coast of the United States and is one of the three strongest leagues in North America.

"Undoubtedly, this achievement is a victory for Denis and his coaches and allows him to compete in the U.S. Open Championships. We congratulate Denis and wish him more victories!", the report said.
