Zhaparov congratulates Kyrgyz swimmer on setting world record for swimming across Issyk-Kul Lake

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2021 / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, during a telephone conversation, congratulated Kyrgyz swimmer Vladislav Shuliko on setting a world record, by swimming across Issyk-Kul Lake in six days.

The head of state noted that Vladislav Shuliko had made an unprecedented courageous deed, set a world record - having swum across Issyk-Kul Lake with a length - 181 km.

“All Kyrgyzstanis including me watched and worried during all six days that your swim lasted. With great joy and excitement I received the news of your record. You are our great pride. Previously, no one has made such a swim before you. Your skill, perseverance and will to glorify the Motherland - the Kyrgyz Republic helped to achieve this goal,” the president said during the conversation.

Sadyr Zhaparov wished swimmer Vladislav Shuliko good health, new achievements and all the best.
