Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2018 / Kabar /. Taekwondo players from Kyrgyzstan won three gold medals at the Open Championship in Kazakhstan, which was held in Almaty from Feb. 24 to 25, the press service of Taekwondo Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic(TFKR) reported.
The TFKR said that the teams from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the competition.
"Our country was represented by three young athletes. As a result, all three took a gold medal and one silver medal. Nazira Utesheva and Vitaly Oleinichenko were coaches of the winners," the report said.
Champions were: Aijan kyzy Baktybek - (sparring) and silver (tuli), Adina Romanova and Elzada Matieva in sparring.
