Bishkek, July 8, 2019. / Kabar /. A meeting of Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov and Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin was held within the framework of the 15th Meeting of Foreign Ministers "European Union + Central Asia".
The heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries exchanged views on topical issues of development of Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation and discussed the organization of a meeting of the two heads of state, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Special emphasis was placed on enhancing bilateral economic cooperation, as well as taking measures necessary to maintain good neighborliness and stability in the border areas of the two countries.
Aidarbekov and Mukhriddin agreed that the negotiations of the working groups of the governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, which ended on July 6 of this year. in Isfara city of Tajikistan, had a positive progressive dynamics.
