Bishkek, Nov.27, 2019./Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov met on Wednesday with his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon, the press service of the Kyrgyz President said.
The meeting took place as part of the regular session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), to be held tomorrow, Nov.28, in Bishkek.
The heads of state discussed a wide range of topical issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, and identified prospects for bilateral cooperation.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Emomali Rahmon emphasized the need to further strengthen cooperation between the countries on a wide range of issues, including the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
