Kyrgyz team is taking part in II Commonwealth Youth Cybersport Games

Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2024. / Kabar /. On December 17, the Second Youth Cybersport Games in one of the most popular computer games in the world, Dota 2, started at the Russian Technological University MIREA in Moscow, the press service of the university said.

More than 30 teams from seven CIS countries took part in the correspondence and in-person stages: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Uzbekistan. The Kyrgyzstan team included talented players - Edil "Edil-baike" Sulaimanov, Rustam "Shameless.1" Bektenov, Atay "Atay_KR" Eshenkulov, Dastan "Dasik" Koldoshev, Adilet "Adilet_Pro" Doolotkeldiev.

Rector of MIREA Stanislav Kudzh expressed hope at the opening of the games that the competitions will become a tradition that will help strengthen friendship and cooperation between countries through a common interest in eSports.

The Commonwealth Youth eSports Games demonstrate not only the growing popularity of eSports, but also the importance of such initiatives for international cooperation and cultural exchange, the organizers are confident.

The results of the competitions will be announced on December 20, 2024.
