Bishkek, Jan. 17, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan national football team made it to the 1/8 finals of the Asian Cup.
The group stage for the domestic team turned out to be difficult – first they lost to the Chinese team – 2:1, later, to South Korea – 1:0.
Ak Shumkar players continued to fight for a way out of the group from the third place, playing the last match against the Filipinos. Vitalij Lux performed a hat-trick, scoring three goals against the opponents, the rivals scored only one in response. The score is 3:1 in favor of our players.
The national team, having scored three points, took the second place in the group rating, but it was necessary to identify the winners among other meetings.
In order for our players to go to the 1/8 Cup finals, it was necessary for the Vietnamese team to beat Yemen. The game ended in favor of the former – 2:0.
Now Ak Shumkar players are to play against the United Arab Emirates team.
