Kyrgyz tourists die in accident on way to lakes in Russia’s Khakassia

Bishkek, Aug. 12, 2020. /Kabar/. Tourists from Kyrgyzstan died in a car accident on way to lakes in Khakassia, Russia. The crash occurred on Aug. 11 at 1:50 p.m. on the 232 km on the Achinsk - Uzhur - Shira - Troitskoe road.

According to the press service of the General Administration of for Traffic Safety, five Kyrgyzstanis arrived in Khakassia to rest on local lakes.

A 24-year-old driver of Nissan Sunny pulled over at the corner, lost control and allowed the car to skid, after which he tipped over into a ditch.

"As a result, two passengers in the back seat of a foreign car died. The driver and two others were hospitalized. A criminal case under Part 5 of Article 264 of the Russian Criminal Code "Violation of the rules for traffic safety and operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of two or more people" has been instituted," General Administration of for Traffic Safety of Khakassia said.
