Kyrgyz-Turkish hospital to be used as observation site for COVID-19 patients

Bishkek, Apr. 29, 2020. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz-Turkish hospital in Bishkek will be used as an observation site, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aida Ismailova said Wednesday.

"I have visited the Kyrgyz-Turkish hospital myself. Twenty-two highstandard observational places have been prepared there. This hospital will be used as our citizens arrive and as all available beds are occupied," she concluded.

As of Apr. 29, Kyrgyzstan reported 21 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 729, including 191 cases among medical workers.

A total of 437 citizens have been cured of COVID-19 all over the country.

Currently, 281 patients are in hospitals with coronavirus infection.

10 patients are in serious condition in hospitals, 4 of them are in intensive care.

8 people have died.
