Bishkek, June 10, 2022. / Kabar /. Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University took 801st place in the ranking of 1422 best universities in the world according to QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) and became the first university in Kyrgyzstan to be included in the world ranking of world universities.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, since 2019, Manas University is also among the top 200 universities in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, ranking 156th in 2022.
This year, QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) ranked 2462 universities, of which 1422 were selected as the best in the world.
This honorary list includes 439 universities in Asia, Africa - 32, Europe - 483, Latin America - 190, North America - 232, Oceania - 46. Central Asia is represented in the ranking only by the universities of Kazakhstan (16 universities) and Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University), while the US is represented by 202 universities, Turkey by 24 universities and Russia by 48 universities.
Quacquarelli Symonds is one of the world's largest providers of services, analytics and forecasts to the global higher education sector.
QS evaluates universities according to the following criteria: Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty / Student Ratio, Citations per Paper, International Faculty Ratio and International Student Ratio.
