Kyrgyz, Uzbek border regions to reopen checkpoints

Tashkent, March 31, 2021. / Kabar / . Two checkpoints will be opened between Jalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan’s Namangan Region, Head of Namangan Region Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov said during an official meeting of the Kyrgyz delegation.

The Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Governor of Jalal-Abad Oblast of Kyrgyzstan Absattar Syrgabayev, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of Namangan Region.

According to him, Uchkurgan-Kensai and Nanai-Kerben border checkpoints will be opened in the coming days.

Earlier, it was reported that Jalal-Abad Oblast delegation arrived the day before in Namangan Region for an official visit and got acquainted with industrial enterprises, attractions of the region.

The visit of the Kyrgyz delegation to Namangan continues.
