Kyrgyz-Uzbek film "Delbirim" to be screened in Kyrgyzstan on December 6

Bishkek, Nov. 23, 2018. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz-Uzbek film “Delbirim” will be screened in Kyrgyzstan on December 6th. The plot of the film is based on the story of national writer Chyngyz Aitmatov “Delbirim”, centralasian.org wrote.

In Russian, the work is better known under the name “Topolek moi v krasnoi kosynke” (Russian: Тополек мой в красной косынке, The Girl with the Red Scarf).

The premiere of the film in Kyrgyzstan is scheduled for December 6th. The premiere in Uzbekistan has already taken place, the film's producers told.

The film was shot in Nanai and Gova villages, Namangan oblast, Uzbekistan, as well as in Tashkent oblast and in Kyrgyzstan - Issyk-Kul.

The leading roles - Ilyas and Baytemir - were performed by Uzbek actors Adiz Radjabov and Ulugbek Kadyrov. The roles of Assel and Kadicha - Kyrgyz actresses Madina Talipbek and Elina Abay Kyzy.

The script was written by Kyrgyz playwright Kerez Zarlykova, the film was produced by Uzbek director Sarvar Karimov.

Earlier, it had been reported that a Danish producer center paid fees to Kyrgyz actors, Uzbekkino – to Uzbek actors. The support was also provided by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
