Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held a telephone conversation with the head of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During a telephone conversation, the leaders of the two countries discussed topical issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as the situation in the region, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Sadyr Zhaparov on the upcoming Independence Day, wished him health and success in state activities, and peace and prosperity to the brotherly Kyrgyz people.
Sadyr Zhaparov, sincerely thanking Shavkat Mirziyoyev for his congratulations and wishes on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic, also congratulated him on the anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.
At the end of the conversation, Sadyr Zhaparov stressed that the Kyrgyz side is ready to further strengthen the strategic partnership, expand political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with Uzbekistan.
