Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2017. /Kabar/.Kyrgyz film maker Nurlan Anarbaev will present his video "Mountains under pressure" in Italy, as part of the International Day of Mountains, the public fund CAMP Ala-Too reported in its facebook.
The video encourages people to pay attention to the mountains, because as time goes by they can disappear.
"We are changing mountains to meet our needs. This does not pass without a trace. Only in Kyrgyzstan in 7 years the glacier mass will decrease by 40%," the author of the video says.
It is important to note that current video of Anarbaev was considered as the best at the international competition "MOUNTAINS IMPORTANT". This gave him a right to participate in the Italian international conference "Mountains under pressure: climate, hunger, migration", which will be held in Rome from 11 to 13 December.
Other participants who featured their videos were from such countries as Great Britain, France, Peru, Croatia, Brazil and other countries.
Videos were evaluated in two categories - "amateur video" and "professional". Anarbaev won in the professional category.
The International Day of Mountains is celebrated annually on December 11th.
