Kyrgyz weightlifter Rasulbekov takes 6th place at Tokyo Olympics

Bishkek, Aug. 1, 2021 . / Kabar /. Weightlifter from Kyrgyzstan Bekdoolot Rasulbekov placed sixth at the Tokyo Olympics.

The athlete in the weight category up to 96 kg performed on Saturday.

A total of 10 athletes competed in this group.

Athletes lifted the bar from snatch and jerk. In the snatch Rasulbekov was able to take a weight of 166 kg, and before that a weight of 162 kg.

Further, in the jerk ddiscipline the Kyrgyzstani was able to take 200 kg, and then 208 kg.

In the last approach the weight of the bar was already 216 kg, which Rasulbekov failed to fix over his head.

The national athlete's result was 374 kg, which allowed him to take a worthy 6th place.
