Kyrgyz women's football team earns bronze at CAFA Women's Championship

Bishkek, July 21, 2022 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s national women’s football team won bronze at the CAFA Women's Championship.

The Kyrgyz Football Union reported that the outcome of the prize money was decided on the last game day, July 20.

The Kyrgyz team defeated Tajikistan with 0:1 to win third place. The goal was scored by Ayana Karataeva, who was named the best player of the match.

As a result, Uzbekistan won the title of champion, followed by the team from Iran. Turkmenistan received the Special Award.
