Bishkek, July 24, 2024 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan's women's national volleyball team (U-20) took the first place at the CAVA Championship in the Maldives, the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan said.
The championship ended today in the city of Male.
In the first round athletes from Kyrgyzstan beat the national team of Maldives with a score of 3:0, in the second round also beat athletes from Nepal (3:0), in the third round Kyrgyz women lost to the national team of Sri Lanka (3:2). In the semifinals, the national team defeated Nepal 3:0, and in the final battle they defeated Sri Lanka 3:0.
As a result, the women's volleyball team won the Asian Zonal Championship.
