Kyrgyz wrestler Sharshenbekov wins gold in rating tournament in Poland

Bishkek, June 21, 2024. /Kabar/. Member of the Kyrgyz Greco-Roman wrestling team Zholaman Sharshenbekov won gold in the rating tournament in Poland.

The Ziolkowski, Pytlasinski, Poland Open tournament started on June 19 in Warsaw.

Sharshenbekov (60 kg) in the first round fought against an athlete from Algeria, whom he defeated ahead of schedule, and then also defeated an athlete from Poland ahead of schedule.

He reached the final, where he again defeated the representative of Ukraine ahead of schedule.

Sharshenbekov took 1st place and won a gold medal.

Earlier Akzhol Makhmudov also won a gold medal at this tournament.
