Bishkek, July 9, 2019. /Kabar/. Akylbek Talantbekov, the member of the Kyrgyz Greco-Roman wrestling national team, won silver at the Asian Junior Championship in Thailand.
The tournament has started today in Chonburi Province, which is attended by 16 Kyrgyz athletes.
Talantbekov won Uzbek athlete Dilshod Omongeldiyev with a score 5:4, later defeated Chinese wrestler Kelan Bakhetzhang- 6:0.
In the struggle for the first place, he met with a representative of Iran, Mohammed Aziz Naghousi. The Kyrgyz wrestler lost with score 3-6, thus becoming the owner of the silver.
