Bishkek, Feb. 27 / Kabar /. Members of the national judo team participated in Grand Prix Düsseldorf tournament, which was held from 24 to 26 February in Dusseldorf (Germany), the Kyrgyz Federation of Judo told Kabar Agency.
"The Grand Prix Düsseldorf is a ranking event, where athletes can score points for qualification. We sent three wrestlers to the tournament, who were able to show good results. Yuri Krakovetskiy (100 kg), Otar Bestaev (60 kg) and Farukh Bulekulov (90 kg)," the Federation said.
Judoka Krakovetskiy Yuri was close to bronze. In the fight for bronze medal he conceded athlete from Hungary and took the fifth place.
