Al Kuwait, Feb. 23, 2019. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz traditional yurt is very popular among Arabs. We have already found the second resident of Kuwait, who assembled a yurt in his yard.
“The Kyrgyz yurt turned out to be the most beautiful of all that I found on the Internet,” Jamal Jassim Al Hubay told.
Jamal Jassim Al Hubay himself works in a state-owned oil company in the planning section of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait. However, he is taking well-deserved rest in a week. He assembled A Kyrgyz yurt in his yard. Mister Jamal Jassim Al Hubay said that enough free area remained in the yard of his house, where he wanted to place a yurt.
At first, Jamal Jassim Al Hubay considered Arabic versions, and after Moroccan and even Mongolian ones. But he did not like any of those. After that, he decided to search on the Internet and found the Kyrgyz yurt.
“We have our own bazaar where Arab traditional dwellings are sold. There are ones made of iron, wood and fabric. But I was looking for traditional dwellings of other countries. I was searching in Eastern Arab countries. One of my friends has a Moroccan home. I went there, had a look. On Youtube, I’ve seen a lot of such houses, but I decided on the Kyrgyz yurt, because it was the most beautiful,” he recalls.
After making a choice, Jamal Jassim Al Hubay began to look for ways to acquire a Kyrgyz yurt and deliver it to his home.
“I heard that in Saudi Arabia there are businessmen selling Kyrgyz yurts. But for various reasons I could not bring one here through them. Therefore, I found a person from Kyrgyzstan on the Internet who could sell and deliver it to me. But the question was whether this man would deceive me. That is why I found people here who helped me make sure that everything would be fine. They promised me that a yurt would be delivered from Kyrgyzstan in a week, and that was how it happened,” Jamal Jassim Al Hubay added.
The Kuwaiti man could not assemble a yurt on his own, so he appealed to the Kyrgyz Embassy in Kuwait. It is worth emphasizing that Jamal Jassim Al Hubay managed to modernize the yurt, coming up great ideas for a convenient stay there.
“We use the yurt all the time. We often gather here with family, friends or relatives. We also invite guests here,” he added.
Our first acquaintance, who placed a yurt in his yard, lives near Al Kuwait and owns a large farm.
