Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2024. /Kabar/. The Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Yekaterinburg together with the Kyrgyz travel company “Info Service Company” took part in the EXPOTRAVEL-2024 International Tourism Exhibition, held on Oct. 3-4.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that the Kyrgyz stand was represented by a colorfully decorated national yurt with traditional decorations, where visitors learned about the republic's tourism opportunities through stories about Kyrgyz history, traditions and culture.
Representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora, dressed in national costumes, welcomed the guests with boorsoks, sharing excerpts from the Manas epic and accompanying the performances with a bright cultural program that aroused sincere admiration from the audience.
At the solemn ceremony, Consul General Maksat Tentimishov made a welcoming speech and wished all the participants fruitful work.
EXPOTRAVEL-2024 exhibition, organized by the Ural Tourism Association, traditionally opens the autumn-winter tourist season. This year's participants included consular missions of foreign countries, Russian regions, Russian and foreign tour operators and hotels.
