Bishkek, March 30 / Kabar /. The opening of KyrgyzBuild 2017, the annual International Construction Exhibition is held in Bishkek on Wednesday, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by representatives of the president’s and government’s offices of the Kyrgyz Republic, heads of relevant ministries and departments of the country, representatives of diplomatic missions of the countries participating in the exposition, as well as top management of large industry enterprises and business structures of Kyrgyzstan and abroad.
Eldar Abakirov, the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, said that the construction sector is one of the important branches of the country's economy, since favorable conditions in this sphere give an important multiplier effect in terms of job creation, tax collection, improvement of infrastructure and business climate in general.
It is gratifying that every year the interest to this exhibition grows, because it gives an opportunity not only to specialists to get acquainted with new achievements and technologies of the construction industry, but also to those who wish to see the most advanced samples of building craftsmanship.
The exhibition brought together producers and distributors.
64 companies from 12 countries of the world participate in the jubilee exhibition, traditional companies-participants from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, China, Turkey, Germany, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Italy, Switzerland, Poland and 110 official representatives of the largest manufacturing plants in Kyrgyzstan with their stands.
Official support for the exhibition KyrgyzBuild 2017 was provided by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Transport and Roads, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use, the National Energy Holding Company and the State Agency for Promotion of Investments and Export under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Last year's 14th international exhibition, which was held in Bishkek from March 30 to April 1, 2016, was attended by more than 4,000 visitors from 10 countries.
