Osh, Dec.16, 2019. /Kabar/. Yesterday, Dec. 15 the Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC has started producing gas from a new filed in Nooken region, Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.
According to information, Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC started drilling a new well in Nooken region in September 2019. As a result of drilling at a depth of 2040 meters, natural gas was found.
Currently, 7 thousand cubic meters of gas are produced per day. According to experts, after the completion of all works the volume of gas production will increase.
Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC has not discovered any new gas fields for 50 years since 1970.
Kyrgyzneftegaz was established in 1952. It is reported that now gas will also appear in the nearby territories.
