Kyrgyzneftegaz to cooperate with Chinese company in oil and gas industry

Bishkek, June 26, 2024. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC Nurgazy Nishanov paid a working visit to Urumqi (Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China).

According to the press service of Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC, during the visit, a consensus was reached on cooperation in the oil and gas industry and a memorandum of cooperation was drawn up between Kyrgyzneftegaz OJSC and Engineering Drilling Company SIBU LLC, according to which the parties will work together on exploration and development of oil and gas fields in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, the parties agreed to jointly carry out major repairs, hydraulic fracturing, acid treatment of wells and other work in order to intensify oil production from old wells. It is also planned to drill deep wells with a depth of more than 4 thousand meters.
