Bishkek, Sept. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, 1 thousand 254 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection have been registered among children, Nurgul Ibraiyeva, the acting head of the Department of Health Care Organization and Drug Policy told a news briefing Monday.
As of Sept. 1, 2020, number of children infected with novel coronavirus made up 1,254. 123 cases were detected among children under 1 year old, 434 – among from 1 to 6 years old, and 697 children from 6 to 14 years old contracted coronavirus.
Kyrgyzstan has reported 46,355 COVID-19 cases so far, including 42,619 recoveries and 1,064 virus-linked fatalities.
