Kyrgyzstan: 2,148 citizens get Chinese coronavirus vaccine

Bishkek, April 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, a total of 328 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Social Development reported Sunday.

The Department of Medicines and Medical Equipment monitors adverse reactions after immunization with Sinopharm vaccine. Those who received the vaccine feel satisfactory.

64.79% of those vaccinated feel well, 9.46% note headache and 3.28% - fever.

All symptoms were observed in the first 1-2 days after receiving the coronavirus vaccine.

The main purpose of side effects’ monitoring is to protect patient’s safety through timely detection and establishment of increased frequency of severe and unexpected adverse reactions, continuous study of the benefit/risk balance of drug therapy.

On March 29, a vaccination against COVID-19 coronavirus vaccine started in Kyrgyzstan.

75 thousand people are planned to be vaccinated in Kyrgyzstan in the first phase of vaccination with Chinese Sinopharm vaccine.

The first phase of the vaccination will cover medical workers with a high and very high risk of infection, working in the red zone, family medical groups; medical workers of emergency ambulances, intensive care units with a high risk of developing severe forms of illness or death; employees of educational organizations, employees of law enforcement and security agencies.
