Kyrgyzstan actively working to privatize state-owned assets

Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2021 . / Kabar / . During a press conference at Kabar News Agency on Tuesday, Chairman of the State Property Management Fund (SPMF) under the Ministry of Investment of Kyrgyzstan Mirlan Bakirov said the Fund is actively working on the program of privatization of state assets.

According to him, within the framework of this program the issue concerns share of joint-stock company or asset of state enterprises.

"Our fund has been working in this direction since the independence of Kyrgyzstan. However, there were such problems as insufficient legal framework and lack of transparency. Currently the work in this direction is established," SMPF Chairman Bakirov said.
