Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan registered on Sunday 102 new COVID-19 cases, pushing its total caseload to 83,900.
The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the health workers conducted 1,658 coronavirus tests over the past day, 102 of which came back positive.
The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan increased to 79,927 after 155 more were added in the last 24-hour period.
Currently, 276 COVID-19 patients are being treated in hospitals, including 33 in critical condition and 967 patients are receiving treatment at home.
The headquarters reported two more virus-related deaths, bringing the nationwide tally to 1,400.
Kyrgyzstan recorded the highest daily case spike of 1,654 on July 17, 2020.
The first three imported COVID-19 cases were registered in Kyrgyzstan on March 18 and first three patients were discharged with recovery on March 30.
The first death was recorded on April 2.
