Kyrgyzstan adds 130 new recoveries from novel coronavirus

Bishkek, April 16, 2021 / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan registered on Friday another 130 recoveries from the novel coronavirus, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said.

Thus, a total of 86,621 Kyrgyzstanis have cured of the disease since the first case was detected on March 18, 2020.

According to the report, the country’s nationwide tally of infections has reached 91,374 after an overnight registration of 240 fresh cases.

In the last 24 hours, the novel coronavirus has claimed lives of 4 more Kyrgyzstanis, bringing the death toll to 1,544.

Currently, 1,070 patients with COVID-19 are being treated in hospitals, including 35 in intensive care units, while another 1,173 patients are receiving treatment at home.

A total of 4,394 lab tests were conducted in the country over the past day.
