Kyrgyzstan adds 283 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, July 5, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added on Sunday 283 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 7,377.

The republican headquarters on COVID-19 reported that all the new confirmed cases are contacts of confirmed cases.

Among the newly infected 32 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 1,097, including 500 recoveries, the report said.

According to the headquarters, 88 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours after showing improvement, so far 2,802 people have been recovered in the country.

According to the report, 10 patients have died over the past day, taking the death toll to 88.

Meanwhile, 628 people remained hospitalized, 16 patients are in intensive care.

In addition, 3859 asymptomatic patients are in home quarantine.
