Kyrgyzstan adds 307 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Oct. 10, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s tally of COVID-19 cases reached 48,924 on Saturday with 307 new cases reported in the last day, according to the latest report from the republican headquarters on COVID-19.

The headquarters said that there is an increase of new cases.

Out of the 14 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the tally of contracted medical workers to 3,393.

The headquarters also announced the recovery of 130 more patients, raising the total recoveries in the country to 44,227.

It has reported 5 new deaths from COVID-19 during the past 24 hours raising the nationwide death toll to 1,082.

Currently, 1,642 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 1,520 patients - at home.

Kyrgyzstan has been fighting COVID-19 since March 18.
