Kyrgyzstan adds 379 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, June 8, 2021. / Kabar /. The total number of confirmed cases in Kyrgyzstan rose to 107,714 after 379 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Tuesday, Deputy Minister of Health of the country Zhalalidin Rahmatulaev told at a briefing.

He said that in total 4,766 medical workers contracted the virus in Kyrgyzstan since the pandemic, 4,638 of them recovered.

In addition, 311 more recoveries were reported over the past day, bringing the total recoveries to 101,033.

The death toll mounted to 1,859 as 7 more COVID-19 patients died.

There are 1,765 patients in hospitals throughout the country and 2,016 patients receiving treatment at home.

The health workers conducted 5,728 coronavirus tests within a day.
