Bishkek, Aug. 17, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyzstan reported on Tuesday 561 more recoveries from novel coronavirus, taking the total number of those cured of the disease to 163,810.
Thus, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that Kyrgyzstan’s total number of coronavirus cases has reached 172,668 after 341 citizens were reported to contract the virus in the past day.
The HQ also reported 6 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 2,457.
Currently, 1,920 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 3,067 patients - at home.
Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29. 23,629 people received the COVID-19 vaccine in Kyrgyzstan over the past day. In total, 595,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
