Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added on Monday 78 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total cases to 43,898.
The republican headquarters on COVID-19 in its latest report said that 2 of the new cases are medical workers, bringing the tally of contracted medical workers to 3133.
Meanwhile, 261more recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 38,459, while no new deaths were reported as the fatalities remained 1,059.
There are 5,533 active cases in the country: 715 of them receive treatment in hospitals and 4818 at home.
According to data of the headquarters, the current recovery rate of COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan is 87,6 % and the fatality rate is 2,4 %.
