Kyrgyzstan adds four new deaths from coronavirus, total at 1,321

Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s death toll from COVID-19 coronavirus infection has climbed to 1,321 after 4 new fatalities related to the virus were recorded throughout the country.

According to the latest report from the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, one death was registered in Bishkek city, two – in Osh Oblast, and one each in Batken and Issyk-Kul Oblasts.

Kyrgyzstan reported on Thursday 264 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 78,415.

The number of recoveries from the coronavirus increased to 71,656 after 386 more were added.

Meanwhile, there are 4,558 active cases in the country, 1,815 of them are being treated in hospitals, and 2,743 patients are receiving treatment at home.

The country has conducted 29,24 tests in the past 24 hours.
