Kyrgyzstan administers 9,370 doses of coronavirus vaccine in last 24 hrs

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2021 . / Kabar / . In the last 24 hours, 9,370 doses of vaccine against coronavirus infection were administered across Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said Wednesday.

According to the report, 4,455 people were vaccinated with the first dose, while 4,915 Kyrgyzstanis were given the second shot.

As of today, a total of 1,195,827 people have been vaccinated in Kyrgyzstan since the start of the vaccination campaign on March 29, 2020, and 983,534 compatriots have received both doses of the vaccine.

The country is inoculating its citizens with Sinopharm, Sputnik-V, Sputnik-Light, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. In addition, the country received on Tuesday 1.5 million doses of Sinopharm vaccine from China as a humanitarian aid.
