Kyrgyzstan allocated over KGS 4 bln for road sector for first 6 months of 2022

Bishkek, July 27, 2022. /Kabar/. Following the results of 6 months, the road sector is funded at KGS 4 billion 142 million 300 thousand, or 55.2% of the budgeted funds, Minister of Transport and Communications of the republic Erkinbek Osoev said at a press conference on the results of the first half of 2022.

Of these:

- From the current budget – KGS 1 billion 895 million 300 thousand, or 65.3%, including the purchase of road bitumen transferred 68%;

- State capital investment – KGS 2 billion 247 million, or 48.8%.

"In total, the national budget for 2022 provided KGS 7 billion 582 million 300 thousand for the repair and maintenance of roads, including the project of state capital investment (KGS 4 billion 600 million)," the minister said.

Along with this, Osoev noted that the total amount of work performed on current data is KGS 1 billion 608 million 300 thousand.
