KGS 255 mln allocated to combat and eliminate consequences of emergencies: ministry

Bishkek, July 21, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan envisages KGS 255 million to combat emergency situations and eliminate their consequences, State Secretary of the republic’s Emergency Ministry Azamat Mambetov told during a news briefing.

Every year, the Ministry of Emergency Situations allocates KGS 100 million to fight against emergencies and to prevent them.

"Additional funds were allocated under a separate order of the Government. Thus, a total of KGS 255 million 140 thousand was allocated to combat the emergencies. Of those, KGS 209 million 879 to the Emergency Ministry, KGS 769 thousand to the Foreign Ministry, KGS 4 million 976 thousand to the Health Ministry, KGS 994 thousand to the Ministry of Transport and Roads, the State Committee on Defense received KGS 32 million 700 thousand, the State Veterinary Inspectorate – KGS 3 million 800 thousand," Mambetov said.

He added KGS 2 million 739 thousand were allocated from the budget of the State Material Reserves Fund.

Besides, KGS 151 thousand were spent from the account, provided for the fight against coronavirus. Currently, there are KGS 58 million 844 thousand left in it.
