Kyrgyzstan allocates KGS 30 mln to shoot serials on social topics

Bishkek, Jan.21, 2020. /Kabar/. The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has allocated KGS 30 million from the budget to the Ministry of Culture to shoot serials on socially relevant topics.

Culture Minister Azamat Jamankulov attended on Monday a meeting to discuss creation of domestic serials, the ministry’s press service said.

Heads of the Department of Cinematography, Kyrgyz Film National Studio named after Okeyev, Kyrgyz Tele Film Studio named after Sadyrbayev, members of the Union of Cinematographers and production studios took part in the meeting.

The meeting participants discussed the issues of organizing work processes for creating serials, as well as international practice on shooting.

“The ideas for the serials will be chosen on socially relevant topics, namely on the integrity of the state and a positive vision of the future of the country,” the report says.
