Bishkek, Aug. 3, 2023. /Kabar/. On August 1-2, 2023, representatives of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic met in Bishkek with a delegation of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, headed by Chairman of the Board Himalai Gabil oglu Mamishev.
The meeting was held within the framework of the Protocol on cooperation in the field of compulsory state social insurance between the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan, signed on October 11, 2022.
During the meeting, the sides signed an Action Plan for the implementation of the above Protocol on cooperation for the period from 2023 to 2024.
Bilateral consultations were held as part of the exchange of experience and best practices on issues of pension provision and social insurance, the use of information and communication technologies in the field of pension provision of the population and social insurance, and the organization of financial support for the pension system.
An exchange of information took place on reforming the sphere of state pension provision and social insurance.
The Azerbaijani side shared information on the application of the experience of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic in terms of investing pension savings.
In addition to exchanging experience, the sides discussed proposals for the implementation of joint research and projects within the framework of cooperation.
