Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan sign MoU on cooperation in energy sphere

Bishkek, April 25, 2024 / Kabar/. Ministries of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the energy sector.

According to the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the document is aimed at developing bilateral cooperation in the energy industry in the following areas:

 joint research and development of oil fields in the territories of the states of the parties;

 trade in oil and petroleum products;

 cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources and hydropower.

The memorandum was signed by ministers Taalaibek Ibraev and Shakhvazov Parviz Oktay oglu within the framework of the state visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
