Beijing, June 6, 2018. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan and China signed a number of agreements on deepening partnership relations in the existing spheres of cooperation.
Signing of documents was held today in Beijing following the meeting of the leaders of the two countries within the framework of the state visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to China.
A joint declaration on the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and the China was signed by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Chinese President Xi Jinping. The remaining documents were signed by the heads of the relevant departments of the two states.
On the results of the meetings the following documents were signed:
Memorandum on the zone of external trade and economic cooperation between the Agency for Protection and Promotion of Investments under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC;
1. Protocol on the introduction of amendments and additions to the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the construction and operation of the China and Kyrgyzstan gas pipeline dated September 11, 2013;
2. Memorandum on the zone of external trade and economic cooperation between the Agency for Protection and Promotion of Investments under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC;
3. Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the State Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC in the field of human resources;
4. Protocol between the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Main Directorate for Quality Control of Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China on phytosanitary requirements for melon fruits exported to China;
5. Exchange letters between governments on the implementation of the project for the supply of a mobile hospital for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic;
6. Agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Committee on Health and Hygiene of the PRC on cooperation in the field of health;
7. Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Main State Administration for Broadcasting and Television of China;
8. Memorandum on cooperation to create a requirement for a free zone from foot and mouth disease between the Main Customs Office of the People's Republic of China and the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic;
9. Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China in cooperation in the field of human resources;
10. Agreement on the provision of gratuitous technical and economic assistance between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the PRC.
