Bishkek, Sept. 21, 2023. /Kabar/. The heads of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan - Jeenbek Kulubaev and Cyprus - Konstantinos Kombos, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, held bilateral negotiations, and also signed a Memorandum of Understanding and bilateral consultations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the bilateral meeting the sides were unanimous in their opinion on the need to develop mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation and discussed the prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Cypriot relations.
In conclusion, Jeenbek Kulubaev noted the importance of maintaining political dialogue, strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, drawing the interlocutor’s attention to the need to increase trade turnover, as well as the implementation of projects and events of interest to both countries.
