Kyrgyzstan and Hungary discuss launching joint production of drones and medicines

Bishkek, Feb. 14, 2023 / Kabar/. Businessmen of Kyrgyzstan and Hungary agreed to open a joint pharmaceutical enterprise, and also discussed the possibility of producing agricultural drones, the press service of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

These issues were discussed at the III meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Business Council, which was attended by over 400 companies from the two countries, representing the pharmaceutical, construction, textile and agricultural industries.

The Hungarian side offered Kyrgyzstan the transfer of technology, the creation of drones that are used in the irrigation of agricultural land. Hungary also offers equipment for the protection of border areas and cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, the report said.

The work of the business council was headed by the presidents of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the two countries Temir Sariev and Laszlo Parrag, as well as chairman of the Hungarian Business Council András Baci-Nagy.

The parties noted mutual interest in cooperation. The Hungarian side expressed its readiness to exchange experience in the field of technology, various sectors of the economy, including mining.

Kyrgyz companies are interested in finding partners for the supply of agricultural equipment and seeds.
